The World Wide Photowalk 2016 saw photographers from around the world hit the streets. I decided to lead my very first photowalk to Nelson Mandela Bridge guiding a group of 50 photographers through the streets of Johannesburg.
Arts on Main was the starting point for our Johannesburg art gallery photowalk and surrounding areas. This photowalk would take us to newly renovated buildings housing small shops, art galleries and more.
This photo walk took us to the Madhya Kailash Temple and the Turkish mosque called Nizamiye Turkish Masjid which were conveniently located right next door to each other.
The Joburg Photo Walkers were kept mesmerized by a team of firebreathers and dancers on a chilly evening. See how the team of performers managed to warm a cold night on the verge of winter with displays of control over the deadly primal element.
It was time for street photography at this years annual #WWIM13 Instawalk which took place in the Joburg CBD. We started at 1 Fox and headed down towards Gandhi Square where Killer Clowns and Firebreathers awaited our arrival.
Lightroom makes Geotagging quick and easy and this tutorial will have you up and running in no time at all. Why would you want to geotag your photos? Well, the ability to add extra information to your photo’s like GPS data can be extremely helpful when managing large collections of photos.
The photowalk organized by Kameraz in Rosebank Mall saw a lazy Sunday afternoon tour of the neighbourhood. The walk took us from the hustle and bustle of the markets to the old workhorse fire station.
